Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Unreliable machine. It's avoided by repair people

ddlsel 8/26/2019

I received this machine as a replacement of the previous models due to them breaking down. 14 months after I received it the control panel went bad. Whirlpool did reimburse me for the repair, which I appreciate. Now, it is squealing loudly during operation. The previous repair company now refuses to work on it due to it's newness and complexity (heat pump). The repair company recommended by Whirlpool sent someone who has not worked on the machine before. He cleaned it and had no idea how much that would help. He offered to take it apart and clean deeper for additional cost and said it may not make a difference and that it was a complicated job. Whirlpool, per a chat today, is not offering me any assistance or support. I am very unhappy with this product.

Sounds like a Jet & it only gets dry-ish.

RicardoS 5/18/2019

Where to start... It is not intuitive but it is very loud. It takes a significant amount of time to "dry" but it never quite reaches the 'dry' level; it stays damp. The controls: 1. it takes a few seconds to start (stop and count to 5 using "1 Mississippi...2 Mississippi" etc until 5 Seconds. You'll see how frustrating it is. 2. Then, you have to select from the pre-selected options. But, if you want to have certain features, like "steam", you can only do so if you go under the 'regular' dry setting; you can't do it alone or on a timed setting. 3. Once you have selected your option, you'll either be prompted to pick a drying level, if not, it'll go to step 4. 4. This is where you'll select if you want it finished 'damp' (the full sun option), 'dryish' (the sun with a breeze), and whether you want the wrinkle shield (has an iron with a slash through it). Reiterating::: -If you go with the 'option' with the sun on it, it may as well stay wet. -If you use the option with the 'sun and a breeze', it stays damp. **If you use the 'wrinkle shield', it will restart every so often- you'll hear the compressor start, then the drum, finally it'll stop and then restart. let's say you want to extend the dry time by a few minutes? Well, then you have to restart it> let it go through the chime and sequential flashing lights > go to through all of the prompts of which drying option (timed) > select the length of 'time' > and whether you want the wrinkle shield or not. I had another Whirlpool ventless dryer. I thought that it was terrible at first; the filter on the bottom didn't catch anything and the cooling element had a shield so it couldn't get cleaned. This machine seems slightly better... except the filter is just awful. The bottom filter fits the area just right... that means that there's Not an overlap around the filter and the cooling element; thus, it STILL lets lint in.

Glad I Switched to Compact

JayneAZ 2/10/2019

Purchased and installed and a hall laundry closet three weeks ago. I am very happy with the features, quality, and noise level of the compact dryer. My concerns prior to purchasing a ventless, compact dryer: Capacity: This dryer can dry two king-size sheets and pillowcases in less than two hours. It dries a regular load in an hour or less. Noise level: The dryer makes a noise different than a vented dryer but it is not annoying or loud. Heat Generated: The amount of heat generated is not significant. In the Arizona summer, I might need to use the ventilation fan. Emptying the water reserve tank: The ample water container easily slides in and out and is simple to empty. The drain hose is long enough to go into a drain, if available. Fabrics come out nice and soft. Instead of clothes being burnt to a crisp, they are gently dried.

3 months and it no longer dries clothes

Chrisw19 2/5/2019

We purchased the washer/ventless dryer combo. At first we liked it, yes it takes longer to dry but since it's "efficient" we dealt with that. 3 months in and the dryer is no longer drying at all. Yes I clean all the vent screens whirlpool. No it is not too large of a load. I just let some clothes try to dry for 4 hours and I got a load of hot wet clothes. Given the price of this unit you would think it would work. Terribly dissatisfied and frustrated. Would not recommend to anyone. Anyone who purchased this should be refunded. I can't politely express my frustration.

Update to Jeff15 review

Jeff151 1/19/2019

Update: In addition to taking forever to dry and not drying clothes, the dryer displayed an F01 error code (main electronic control board failure) at 1.5 months (with 2.5 weeks vacation included in the 1.5 months) into having the dryer. Out of every apartment complex I've been in and washer/dryer combos I've used, these are by far the worst.

Awful Dryer

Jeff15 1/9/2019

My apartment complex bought this dryer and it has been nothing but a headache for the maintenance team. Takes between 2 and 4 hours to dry one load of laundry (3.5 hours for three bath towels). Calling this a dryer may be an overstatement as probably takes about as much time to hang dry the clothes on a warm day

This Dryer does not Dry Clothes effectiveky

PissedOffJosh 1/4/2019

To Whom it May Concern, We purchased Whirlpool Dryer Model #W108587188 in late September 2018. We noticed immediately that the dryer was not drying clothes effectively. We did some troubleshooting and then arranged for a service call. The technician told us we had a compact "energy saving" unit and advised that we should cut our load size in half and extend drying time to 2 hours. Drying time for a typical load (3/4 full tub) takes 2-3 hours, this is unacceptable and does not work for our family. . I feel like we bought a car and were informed that it works properly as long as we don't exceed 30mph or maximum 2 passengers at any given time. The OEM or retailer (P.C. Richard) should have warned us, the consumer, that this unit is vastly slower at drying clothes than a typical/average dryer. Would appreciate someone from Whirlpool rescuing out since P.C. Richard is not taking any responsibility. Thanks

Does not dry clothes. Can't use x dry feature

Lhp2455 12/30/2018

Takes 2 to 3 full dry cycles to almost dry items. Even then, items are still somewhat damp and need to be hung dried before folding. There is always a dampness to the clothes when take out of dryer. The x dry feature - none of the settings allow you to use this feature Also this dryer is not user friendly. Have to keep referring to manual My contractor recommend this item. Why don't know. This is suppose to be an energy efficient "green" machine. How does requiring multiple cycles per load equal efficiency???

MarieH 12/19/2018

Awful! It does not dry at all-It was expensive to buy, there is nothing broken with the dryer- It just does not dry from day one. The company should reimburse ALL the clients who bought this dryer which is a useless appliance.

F01 Error Code 16 months after purchase

DLSL 10/18/2018

I am frustrated that this machine malfunctioned only 16 months after purchase. Of course, just after the 1-year warrant period. This unit was installed as a replacement to the previous model that failed after 4 months.

DOES NOT DRY ANYTHING EFFICIENTLY

BarrettG 10/1/2018

Takes 2 to 3 full dry cycles to almost dry items. Even then, items are still somewhat damp and need to be hung dried before folding. My developer got a sweet deal on these (assuming because so many bad reviews) and put them in all of the brand new units in our complex. By the way, we have no need for ventless dryer, because we have a vent installed in out condo. This item should be recalled!!! This is suppose to be an energy efficient "green" machine. How does requiring multiple cycles per load equal efficiency???

Terrible product

Ugh-123 8/13/2018

Dryer takes forever to dry (and yes social media team I have checked everything and emptied the water tank), it was delivered damaged but I didn't notice until past the 48 hr window so I'm stuck with it, the sensors turn off the dryer when the clothes are still soaked and it's a constant battle to dry the clothes. Not to mention that it's not a very user friendly machine in general. I would not recommend buying this. I ordered online through a rep at Home Depot for the smaller size but she neglected to tell me that it was a ventless dryer. Regardless, this is a bad product and should be recalled. Good luck drying 3 towels under 3 hours with it turning off every 10 min! And Whirlpool really isn't standing behind their product. im extremly disappointed and have learned an expensive lesson. Also note all of the positive reviews are coming from a promotion!

Worst dryer ever

Hatethisdryer 8/12/2018

This dryer does not dry clothes. Sometimes I have to run it three times before the load gets semi-dry, or just dry enough to be passable. It is a huge waste of time and I've even resorted to getting my laundry done by a laundry service to avoid using it.
