I've had the dryer for almost a month now, and so far I have no complaints. Most loads are dried within one cycle.
I certainly hope it lasts as long as the last Whirlpool dryer, which was over 20 years.
I had to wave goodbye to it as it was taken out of the house!

A LEMON - washer not the dryer

I bought almost 2 months ago and I haven't been able to use. A technician has been here 5 times changing the motor and other part, and it is still not working. Another tech will come out this week sometime. We did not bargain for a used washer and Whirlpool won't replace it. It's time to go to Small Claims Court! Tired of it and frustrated.

I'm very happy with this dryer because I always set it to automatic energy preferred setting and my clothes always come out perfectly dry and never wrinkled. I had my last whirlpool washer dryers for twenty years and they were still looking and running like new. But I gave them to a friend in need and replaced with new whirlpools. Same great construction, same great function, same great quality only simpler and more energy efficient.

I have the flat back dryer. Which in a smaller home works great. Lots of settings which are perfect for all types of fabrics. My favorite is the cool down. The clothes seem to come out practically wrinkle free even in the high heat setting.

We bought this over a month ago and it was out of stock on back order for five weeks. We were pleasantly surprised when it showed up earlier. We had small space in the laundry room so choice of dryer was very limited. I was surprised how much room it has in drying capacity. I guess that Whirlpool has to reduce the insulation to give maximum drying capacity, so this dryer is quite noisy. One thing we were not happy about was Lowe's made us purchase a foil exhaust pipe along with the dryer purchase. However, in the owner's manual, it said the foil exhaust pipe is a fire hazard. We called Whirlpool right away, but we never heard back from Whirlpool or Lowe's about putting back our original exhaust pipe which was made of metal.

I needed a gas dryer that would fit in my laundry room and was thrilled to find this one! Most of the newer dryers are much deeper and would have blocked the door into the garage. The fact that it was a Whirlpool was very reassuring. Every load I have done has dried much faster that expected.

Dries fine. Motor is extremely loud. Wording around dial in shades of white and grey are difficult to read.Door does not feel solid, very light and the door latch seems cheap. Also does not always close the first try. Lint screen - difficult to remove lint, lint sticks

We bought this model to accommodate a smaller space and are happy with its simple controls and operation. It runs a little bit louder than our last dryer, but since its operation is efficient, it isn't on as long. We like that the lint trap is on the top.

The only problem with this dryer is it is a little louder when running, compared to my previous Whirlpool Dryer. Will only buy Whirlpool products, as they last a long time with no problems. But I am sure that the cellar doesn't mind the slightly louder hum. LOL
