So far, so good! Bought this a month ago, and it's been awesome. It even gets my husband's work clothes clean, which our old washer could not. Only complaint is that you have to be careful with how much you load at once. I've noticed if it's all towels, it will go off balance. it may be a bigger capacity washer, but still need to load rationally. Overall very happy with this washer!

We had a front load washer that came with the house. It died. We didn't like it because it didnt get our clothes clean, and it got moldy and we constantly had to keep cleaning it. We decided to get a top loader large capacity this time. We've only had it, maybe a month, but so far, we love it! We love the power wash setting. My fiance's clothes get pretty dirty when he works on cars, or at his barn, and the power wash setting helps in getting them clean. Everything comes out clean and fresh smelling. It has many settings and features, such as a special place for bleach and Oxiclean. The tub is deep, and will wash a heavy comforter. And it saves water because it senses how much of a load you have, and adjusts the water accordingly. I would recommend this Maytag washer to anyone with a large family, or have large or bulky blankets or comforters.

I have had my new washer and dryer for about a week now. We moved 2400 miles and left our new deep set there. This move I knew I wanted the agitator with the machine because the new ones I had in our other home did not clean the simplest things and needed more attentention. I can not say enough great things about this set! I'm sure anyone would be happy with the cleaner power they have. There is a bit of a learning curve telling the dryer exactly how you want it dried......sometimes more or less. But it also does a great job!

WORST PRODUCT & CUSTOMER SERVICE

Purchased a brand new washing machine which didn't work. Maytag continuously sends repair man to fix my brand new washing machine. They refused to replace it because I bought it through Home Depot who only gives you 48 hours to figure out if your machine works. If you call within the 48 hours they tell you to call the next day. If you call the next day they tell you your 48 hours was up a day before. Miraculously all the issues with your washing machine ends up becoming your issue example there's probably something wrong with your breaker panel. We were told by Maytag to replace our GFCI breaker with an old fashion type breaker that is not up to the building code standard. We had no issues with our older machines that worked on this breaker system. Everything else works fine on this breaker system except the Maytag washing machine. The home is only one-year-old and yet there's probably something wrong with our breaker system and not Maytag's machine. Maytag claims exceptional equipment and customer service, but they don't deliver on either one. I have been a Maytag customer for years even my parents were Maytag customers. I am stuck with a bad machine and have to call for repairs every other week and they still won't replace the unit. Keep that in mind the next time you want to purchase any Maytag equipment.

When I say big...I mean BIG!

I was not happy with my last 2 machines (front loader and a top loader without an agitator) so I decided to go back to one with an agitator. I liked many of the features of the Maytag 5.2 cu ft top loader. One I brought it home I loved it even more. 1. I love the see through top. I can easily see how my load is progressing and how my laundry is circulating. 2. I had to go back to the agitator. I ditched my front loader a few years ago because of mold building up on the door seals. So, I tried a new top loader with "no agitator". That was a joke! Your clothes don't circulate through the load and most of the time any large items, like towels or sheets, would envelope all the other clothes like a mushroom. I also noticed that items on top never even got wet. After doing some research, I had to work some trickery to make the washer deep fill. Absolutely no issues like that with my new Maytag Machine. 3. Control panel is easy to use. Just a slight touch will turn on and off the machine. They are easy to understand and set. 4. The basin is HUGE! I have always purchase large capacity machines, and this one did not disappoint! I think this large size adds a few inches in height, so you might find yourself on your tippy toes when unloading. 5. Clothes are not super wet when the cycle completes. Drying time is short. I am really happy with my machine!

Tough machine that does great work!

We originally had a top load without an agitator. When we purchased our new machine that was a must have for us. That must was a great decision. The clothes come out looking and smelling clean. I am not worried any longer if the load got mixed around, because having that agitator does all of that.

Deep Fill - Even for King Comforters!

I purchased this about a month ago and for the money, it is an awesome machine. Even the more expensive machines don't have this depth for big items, which I love. I am only 5' so I have to use a little step stool to get out the stuff from the bottom of the washer! I am hoping this Maytag lasts as long as my one that just died - 20 yrs! However, it seems shortest wash cycle is 35 mins., which seems a little long for a small load but am happy with it overall!

Super clean clothes and quiet washer!

I bought our washer and dryer just before we are retiring and so glad I did! I love the large capacity and have been washing bedding to get ready for Thanksgiving guests. It does a marvelous job of getting everything clean. I am amazed at how well the dryer does with the bedding also. I put 2 large heavy blankets in the washer and not only did they come out immaculately clean, but the dryer did a great job so that the blankets were ready to put on the bed when done! Love my new washer and dryer!

This is one of the worst washers I have ever purchased, only to be slightly ahead of a Whirlpool Cabrio. The washer failed after only 10 months of use. Seems it suffers from the same problem as the Whirlpool Cabrio. The control panel fails from metal oxidation which is why I threw away the Whirlpool Cabrio after it failed from the same failure (F6E2) three times in 22 months. The engineers that decided you don't need water to wash clothes are stupid!!!! Their contention that clothes rubbing back and forth together without adequate water is absolutely ludicrous!!!! If some manufacturer would make a washer that used and adequate amount of water would absolutely capture the market. I can only hope.

Good Top-Load with some old school features

We've only had this washer for a bit more than a month, but so far we love it. We are an older couple who still like to tell our appliances what to do rather than have them tell us what they will do. This machine still has a central agitator, allows us to control how much water goes into each load and has enough usable cycles without havig so many as to be confusing. If you miss some of the features of older washers, but need the cleaning abilities of the newer models, this one would be a good choice.

This is an excellent washer. I spent quite a bit of time researching washers and this washer is giving the benefit of both a traditional washer and an HE washer because it allows you to control the amount of water and agitator is designed in such a way that it allows a larger capacity than any competing washing machine.

I purchased this washer one week ago. As of now I am loving it. Our last Maytag traveled thousands of miles with us and only needed a bearing and seal repair after 7 years(pretty sure beach sand did it in) Our new washer (Bravos series) seems like it has cheaper parts in some areas(water screens are now plastic....) but time will tell. So far we are happy with how quiet it is and how well is washes!
